“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be. When I let go of what I have, I receive what I need.” – Tao Te Ching
Fall is my favorite time of the year. As I watch the leaves begin to change colors on the trees and fall to the ground, it’s a sign of shedding the old to make room for the new. As humans, we also go through cycles of shedding to make room for new growth in our lives. Whether we want to change or not, it’s inevitable. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could let go of the things that so easily keep us living a life of mediocrity? This is the year to listen to the small whisper that is urging you to let it go.
As we enter 2019, be willing to let go of habits, thoughts, perceptions, and outdated belief systems that no longer serve you on the journey to living a purposeful life. Don’t allow the force of habit or comfortable cycles to hinder you from discovering all the great stuff that life has to offer. Be bold enough to conspire with the universe to get everything you desire and more. It’s time to let go of anything that keeps you from freely embracing and living the life you want and deserve. Let go of everything that can disrupt your sense of inner peace and contentment. Every moment offers a new opportunity to start with a clean slate to new beginnings.
CALL TO ACTION: Show Up, Speak Up, and Follow Up! Now is the time to take inventory of what is no longer working for you. I urge you to get a journal to keep track of the things that bring you positive energy and things that make you feel good about yourself. While implementing these new habits, nurture them so you can freely move the next level in your life. When you encounter something that does not bring you positive energy and is not serving you at a higher vibrational level in your life, let it go. Don’t let fear and the comfort zone of the past keep you stuck. Everything you’ve ever wanted and deserve is on the other side of what’s holding you back. Let it go, and go be great!
I would love to hear about your journey of letting go. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org to share your story.
